Five on Saturday: Holiday Fashion

Okay, I know, it's usually five on Friday, but since it's a holiday week, the rules don't apply! (That, and this was a perfect five on Friday!)

Holidays mean lots of family time, yummy food and occasions that require a good outfit. I've complied my favorite looks for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & New Years Eve!

First up, Christmas Eve:

No matter your traditions for Christmas Eve, it's a great excuse to dress up. A blouse & skater skirt is a perfect combination. Added some festive jewelry (how cute is that necklace?) and simple studded flats and you're good to go!

If a dress is more your style, pick one in a festive color with simple accessories. Red or green are great options, or if you prefer a neutral find some colorful accessories to go with! Black smoking slippers are a nice simple options for shoes. Add in a chevron clutch for some interest. Side note: when in doubt, go to Kate Spade! I couldn't find a good clutch for this outfit until I searched Kate Spade!

Christmas Day http://www.polyvore.com/m/set?.embedder=4196535&.svc=copypaste&id=107748595

Christmas morning is the ultimate lazy morning in my house! But that doesn't mean I shouldn't still look cute. Mom always has the camera out, so having cute pajamas is key! I paired some patterned leggings with a simple Shep Shirt for ultimate coziness.

New Years Eve http://www.polyvore.com/m/set?.embedder=4196535&.svc=copypaste&id=107749471

New Years Eve means p-a-r-t-y! If you're out to hit the town, sequins is the ultimate NYE fabric. However, you have to be careful when it comes to sequin - choose a dress with sleeves, rubbing under your arms isn't attractive on anyone! Keep your accessories simple, you don't want to go overboard.

New Years Eve Staying In http://www.polyvore.com/m/set?.embedder=4196535&.svc=copypaste&id=107750032

If staying in to watch the ball drop, or just having a casual get together is more your style, no worries! I picked a harem pant paired with a cozy sweater and simple smoking slippers (cute enough for outside wear, cozy enough for indoor wear). Break out the popcorn & nail polish and sing along to all the pre-drop performances.

What are you wearing this holiday season?

P.S. So sorry for the awful links! Blogger & my iPad don't agree!
